Annecy and Léman are fished from boat and bank; new Franco-Swiss rules apply on Léman from 2026. Important for visitors: Savoie (73) and Haute-Savoie (74) sit outside the reciprocity system — for Annecy or Léman simply pick département 73 or 74 in the order and choose the daily or weekly card (the annual interfédérale card is not valid there). The river Ain offers first-class fly fishing for grayling and trout.
What permit do you need for Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes?
